Born and raised in Iowa, Jacob has always had a passion for photography.  Jacob has been lucky to have assisted many talented photographers throughout his career at Dotdash Meredith. 

Jacob does not play favorites; he loves shooting many things, and finds the challenges in all of them.  Choose a subject, and Jacob will complete the challenge—all with a smile.

When not pushing his shutter or manipulating lights, you can find Jacob in the gym or outside.  He enjoys movies and food with his rainy days.
