Rachel's Personal Work

Rachel Marek was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Iowa State University in 2010 with majors in Journalism and Mass Communication and Sociology. By studying abroad while at Iowa State, she realized her passion for travel.  Her latest adventure took her to Australia for six months. Rachel also loves taking photos (especially while traveling), reading books, listening to music and spending time with family, friends and animals. Rachel's previous work has also involved photos. These positions include working at a portrait studio, as an imaging specialist, and an electronic production specialist.
